Analytical Reporting

analytical-reporting

There are data analysis needs that fall in between data listings and biostatistical analysis.

At Innoventz, we recognize that a number of key reports and metrics are not going to be defined until the trial is actually underway. Analytical reporting is the actual phrase that captures this category of work.

In medical device trials, there may be a need for periodic assessments. Questions may arise such as: Which sites are taking too long to respond to queries? Which sites are scheduling visits out of window?

Here is an example of “it’s all in the EDC.” A particular site may not be scheduling patient visits within the appropriate windows. However, data is being fed into the EDC. When the study closes, it is too late to discover that a significant amount of data was collected outside of window, potentially putting the trial results in jeopardy. An analytical report would have alerted of that fact.

Simply because radiographic images are being collected by a third party, it does not mean that all the data is present. You need to make sure that the right images are being collected for the right patient, make sure that there is no patient-identifying data on the images. This is an example of outcome management by Innoventz:

  • Compliance, Trend, and Interim Progress Reports
  • Clinical Report Preparation
  • Reporting: enrollment, scheduled visits, missing data and forms, etc.
